MOVIE: 300
watched 300 with my friend A in greenbeelt 3 and ooooh... the scene where you see all of the 300 spartans with that battle hungry look in their eyes plus...sigh, lovely, lovely abs...
*enter soundtrack here* its raining men..hallelujah! its raining men...oooh yeah! hahaha
i personally think it was well made, even though there weren't any big-named actors, they all gave a pretty solid performance playing their character roles. the wife of leonidas made me think "my god! i wanna be her!" she's so....STRONG! and the plunging neckline! ganda ng wardrobe. now when will i ever get a body like that?!?! and she is so full of...TENSION...just like king leonidas.
and speaking of king leonidas, now that's a REAL king. i mean he's right there in the frontline with his men. plus the fact he's so devoted to his wife. the scene where he says goodbye...ay heartbreaking talaga!!! if A wasn't there i would've bawled my eyes out.
and of course, Xerxes, the Golden Gay god hahaha winner portrayal!
i felt so bad for the oracle with her cursed beauty and was so revolted by the yucky yucky keepers of the oracle ugh.
It was like i could see the director Frank Miller envisioning all the blood and gore scenes with matching S-L-O-W motion effects to emphasize a point (but maybe a little less of the slow mo because i could somehow kinda predict when it would come hehe yesss i am dramatic too in that way)
the movie really really painted pretty pretty pictures, and well casted too. i wouldnt even mind watching it again. in fact i think i want to get a copy of it too...
